When has Hiruzen ever been called a god?

I keep hearing people say "Hiruzen is god of shinobi, manga stated" I never remember Hiruzen being called a god. The only title I have heard given to him is: The professor & Hokage.

Please link me to scans or a video where Hiruzen is called a god.

Only 3 people have ever been called gods in Naruto..


Sage of 6 Paths - By every shinobi who knows his tale

Hashirama Senju - By every ninja including Madara

Nagato - Self titled god and called god by Konan

And like someone else mentioned, only 4 people deserve the title of 'god' in Naruto:


Sage of 6 Paths - Created the moon & became the jinchurriki of the creation and destruction of the world (Jubbi)

Madara - Summons meteors, makes Susano'o clones, only man to awaken Rinnegan apart from the Sage

Hashirama - Hashirama > Madara proves the point

Nagato - Created a mini moon, used nearly all of Sage of 6 Paths jutsu's perfectly

I hate how people started treating Hiruzen like he was crap. Every character in existence said Hiruzen was stronger than Oro.

Hiruzen was called God of Shinobi up until Hashirama was revived. Kishimoto decided, along the way, that he wants Hashirama to be #1 instead of Hiruzen so he pretty much made him look like a tool.

But he was not. Hiruzen was badass.

Iruka calls him God of Shinobi in the first chapter afaik.

It was said during the fight between Orochimaru and Hiruzen in the earlier chapters of Naruto when Oro invaded Hidden Leaf with the help of Hidden Sand Village. (I guess either Iruka or Oro called him God if Shinobi and Professor)

Hiruzen is a low life ninja. He doesn't compare to Orochimaru and he's certainly not a top-tear. He was weaker than the fourth who was 1/3 his age.

do you know what low life means? it pretty much defines Orochimaru. And yes, he does compare. Oro only beat him because he was old. And of course he was weaker than prime fourth when he's 70...

Hiruzen is extremely underrated now just because Kishi decided to give the "God of Shinobi" title to Hashirama.
A 70 year old Hiruzen defeated a healthy, prime Orochimaru and a weakened Hashirama and Tobirama while being confined to a small rooftop which gave Orochimaru the advantage because of Hashi's Moukton.
Prime Hiruzen was more than likely more powerful than Tobirama in my opinion.
I just can't wait to see what the 70 year old Edo Hiruzen can do on the Battlefield, to hell with all you Hiruzen Bashers!!

Oro said himself that if hiruzren was 10 years younger then he would've killed him. Edo hiruzen is pretty much the same thing because he doesnt have age and stamina to slow him down
