When Edo Tensei is released, are souls trapped in Totsuka released?

We know that when someone is sealed into Totsuka, they are sealed in "a blissful genjutsu that lasts for eternity". We also know that Madara kept his soul in place by using a special "release" hand-seal. This means a person's soul can be kept in place even when Edo Tensei is released. My question here is, was Nagato released back into the afterlife with Itachi when he broke Edo Tensei? Perhaps a bigger question is, what happened to Itachi's legendary tools Totsuka and Yata? Are they lost forever? Or maybe Sasuke somehow has them? Could this mean a slim possibility that Nagato is not out of the picture yet, and there are TWO Orochimarus?

I think when an edo is sealed it goes back to the afterlife since as nagato was being sealed his skin started peeling like sasori's

This is something that may turn out to be nothing , but with all the asspulls lately i wouldn't be surprised if this is a thing if/when the Totsuka sword is ever used again

and as far as i think itachi passed down his totsuka and yata to sasuke.

No, it seems that the weapons of the Sage seal those inside to a serious degree. When Edo Tensei was dissolved, the Gold and Silver Brothers remained in the pot that was later thrown into the Gedo and started the Juubi awakening process.

So, Nagato's soul is still stuck in a world of drunken haze.
