yeah the beginning fights are a little drawn out but I think in order to fully appreciate the series I gotta start from the beginning so it builds me up for the climax. im also enjoying it because for some reason its reminding me of watching dragonball back in th90's thanks though.

I really started liking it right before the Arlong park, with the appearance of Sanji. A cook who only kicks? Bored gothic swordsman cutting ships? Zoro´s conviction? Instant love.

Yup exactly when it really picked up for me. Then I noticed going back and rewatching the other ones is better once you know where it's going.
