So I started watching it again after many of my friends emphasised me that it is a great anime and I know that there is something about that fascinates me but it’s too non serious up till now I’m on 25th episode.

Really close. Episode 30 If I recall correctly. Loved it from the start but the next arc hooked me.
I’ll take your word and see what happens.

Well, what traditionally is the moment when a viewer/reader decides whether he wants to continue to view/read the whole series, is either the Baratie or the Arlong Park arcs.

One Piece starts getting more serious and delves deeper into its overarching plot around the time of the Alabasta arc, which begins around episode 92 in the anime. This arc introduces significant themes, conflicts, and reveals about the world and characters. From there, the series continues to balance its trademark humor with increasingly complex storylines, emotional moments, and intense battles as the Straw Hat Pirates journey through the Grand Line. As the crew faces powerful enemies and uncovers mysteries about the world government and the ancient history, the series progressively deepens in its seriousness and narrative depth.
