Why a break?

Its my understanding that Shonen Jump is on a break because they have finished their 2013 schedule. Meaning after x amount of weeks, Shonen Jump resets for the next year (so after release 52 for example, Shonen Jump takes a short break to reset to release 1 for the next year). So right now its in the transition period for the new Shonen Jump year, which means we won't get a new chapter for a week or two.

actually the WSJ new year began more than a month ago, it's simply the christmas/new year breaks
