Lol, video games never become childish. ESPECIALLY classics like Sonic and Pokemon. If anything they get even better with age because you get:
1) Nostalgia bonus points
2) A better understanding of the game/mechanics
3) A better understanding of the content
4) They are either easier or more challenging
