When did you start watching/reading Naruto?

I watched Part I the first time when I was about 12, but didn't really get to complete it. When I was 16 back in April this year I started reading Part 1 and caught up with Shippuden episodes.

I first started watching when the dubbed version hit cartoon network in 2005 I think.

i was in seventh grade and watched it on tv and youtube then stopped for a while then about 2 and a half years ago got into it again and started reading the manga

Toonami ended and I didn't Naruto again for 2 years.

I live in Holland, and i sometimes visit Curacao, and island in the carribean.
Over there i saw Naruto for the first time on television in Dub. That was back in 2004, when I was 14.
I fell in love with the show and I immediately looked it up on the internet, finished 60 episodes before i returned to Holland. good times. Nowadays, i am somewhat dissapointed in Naruto. Maybe its my age, but i always find parts that I'd have changed in the anime.

The over use of 'bonds and friendship' blabber,
The spamming of rasengan, making it seem less intense each time
The animation fail at times (pain arc destroyed my expectations, i've been waiting for that fight since 2008)
The decrease of actual martial arts, and increase of DBZ overpowered stuff
Hmhm.. I wish i had the means to influence VIZ Media and Kishimoto

I first start watching the DUB Version in 2004 or 2005 on cartoon network then after they took it off the air for shippuden,I started watching it on the internet.I just started to read the Manga last year

I started watching it when I was 10 years old in 2006 ,I remember I watched part1 like 15 times or more lol.. cuz in the Chanel where I was watching it they were showing like 10 episodes a day or more I don't remember quite well ,I started reading the manga in 2008 .

At first i though that Naruto was the most stupid thing ever. Then i got a Naruto game for relay cheap and then i decided that i would give the anime a try (This was late November 2009). And I am happy to say that i could not have been more wrong.

2009 or 2010..I think. I started to watching when it came on Cartoon Network and I got hooked after 3 shows. Toonami goes down a few episodes after where the manga left off and me without a computer gets lost. Mid-2011 I hear of Shippuden, yeah late as hell but eh. I get a computer then watch it hard..I mean...in 3 days I got to the Pein's Invasion Arc. Then I switched to the Manga and been reading it ever since..

i first watched it in summer '05. i was out of school then, so that gave something to do. got busy when I went back to school and started watching it again around 2007 until today. started reading the manga 2010, i think?

Started watching Dubbed version on TV back at the beginning of 2010. There was only first 52 episodes of Part I, and because they probably didn't had enough money for more episodes, it ended, and I started to watch it on the Internet.
