When did you start reading/watching Naruto?

I was just wondering,when did you start? I started reading in May of 2010.State the year and month,if you remember both..

I started watching it at like the beginning of the English dub. I was pretty lenient with Naruto though; not watching it again until late in the Chuunin Exam arc. I still enjoy the English version more than the Japanese version and only watch the Japanese version to see what's ahead of the story. I read the translated manga but it's SO FRUSTRATING. It's so hard to tell WTF is going on in manga. Yes I read it correctly (right to left) but it's still a very difficult manga to understand. I only read it to get farther ahead of the story.
