from a ninja story (if it ever was something like that in the first place) to a story about animals, trees and magical eyes?

After the latest chapter I really wonder now again. The climax of the manga: an angry tree raping mankind. The power levels of Naruto, Sasuke and Madara are skyrocketing, comparing them to a kage is like comparing Vegito to Yamcha. It is ridiculous
