When did the animation get crappy?

Naruto vs Pain was bad but all the other episodes around that time were good.

It was somewhere around the war arc, the animation changed. The beginning of the war arc had good animation.

Id like to know the same.

Even back with good old Naruto, animation was crisper and felt more real. It had depth and texture.

It all changed after Asuma's death imho. Now everything looks so linear, with bland colours just filling in lines

Just Google "my pain is greater than yours" and you'll see why he said that fight had some bad animation.

Personally I liked it for the most part, but some parts were just too fluid and laughable.

Animation sucked during kakashi vs Sasuke and onward, begun probably during pain then declined. Animation for at least first half of gokage vs madara was horrible

It really is horrible this arc was suppose to be phenomenal I wish the anime was actually like the beginning of the ten tails arc

After the kage summit arc the anime was going down....
The war arc showed 2 very good fights :
Madara vs Alliance
Kakashi vs Obito

That was it, the rest of the war was animated so bad, its a *****ng shame.
