When did sasuke surpass Itachi?

Sasuke will surpass itachi, but ive already said that the ems is a stepping stone to greater things so, the ems apart from minor adjustments, there isnt really a difference between the two, so whilst sasuke might be stronger than itachi due to having the superior eyes it still hasnt been cleared. For example itachi's tsukuyomi is greater than sasuke's genjutsu. Sasuke is the better user of amaterasu. Susano, if you take the legendary weapons away from itachi's sasuke's is better, but equipped with them itachi's get an offence and defence boost. So even if you look at their dojutsu abilities itachi's is still slightly superior.

Then we have other aspects such as speed and reaction time which itachi is stightly better. Intelligence and strategic thinking which itachi is better. Taijutsu and and handspeed which itachi is better. Both are skilled is weapon usage and both have the advantage over the other in different departments. Example both are good at shurikenjutsu, but itachi has the greater feats, from blinding the rennigan, to his training regime. Both are good at wielding a sword but sasuke has the better feats in this and is even able to run his raiton based chakra affiliation to give his katana the extra edge

The other aspect that sasuke is better is in ninjutsu because he has shown us more ninjutsu feats outside the e/ms than itachi.

All in all sasuke still has quiet a way to go to surpass itachi, both in strength and other areas

Sorry bra but shuriken sasuke has shown better use blindingly stationery targets isn't a good feat

hand speed itachi is the fastest in, the entire manga but sasori lately has become so skilled he barely uses more than one seal

Speed & reaction speed can go either way itachi uses genjutsu so much u can't really judge them

Sasuke is new to ms & many secret jutsu itachi had tobi tobi's approach with sasuke is different instead of tutelage he gives him real battle experience

I agree that sasuke has the advantage in chakra level although that still isnt clear because i believe its his illness that played a part in his chakra. But yes sasuke has the advantage in chakra, ninjutsu outside the e/ms, kenjutsu and infact defence, in chidori nagashi and enton, but base sasuke isnt stronger than base itachi, even if you give base sasuke the cm2.

Base itachi is kage level ant tbh i dont understand how people forget things. Base Itachi believe it or not has one of the most impressive feats in base;

He beat orochimaru in base.

He beat deidora in base.

He beat sasuke in base (although i dont count this because part 1 sasuke was nothing special).

He defeated 3 sharingan users with taijutsu who belonged in the police force in base.

Beat kurenai in base.

He got the better of kakashi in part 1 arguable the konoha's strongest jonin in base without breaking a sweat even before he used tsukuyomi

Name me another ninja in base who has done what itachi has in base. I do however agree that he has shown us limited ninjutsu therefore people often mistake this as his weakness, but thats false. It was said that he not only mastered the uchiha katon jutsu's, he also mastered the Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu at a much younger age than sasuke who did at 7. So whilst he might not have shown us much ninjutsu feat's outside the ms, he no doubt has more techniques. People also forget that he is a suiton user, but also his partner is arguable one of the best suiton users in the series. Im certain itachi copied kisame's less chakra consuming suiton jutsu's.

People also forget his genjutsu prowess which can get the better of any kage level ninja and infact has already in orochimaru. His handspeed was so fast that either sasuke or kakashi both with the sharingan were able to figure out. His intelligence, well i dont believe i need to tell you this. His taijutsu is also very good. His speed and reflexes is also one of the best in the series. He is also skilled in Shurikenjutsu, and kenjutsu, then you have his legendary weapons which we dont know for certain whether he can wield it without susano

In base he holds one of the most impressive feats, but also if you look at the databook, if you take the ms away from him his databook stats wouldnt change much. He would still get a 5 for speed, 5 for intelligence, 5 for genjutsu, 4.5 for taijutsu, 5 for handspeed. The only thing that might decrease is his ninjutsu stat, simply because he hasnt shown us much outside the ms.

Base itachi is kage level and would still be able to get the better off other kage level ninja's without the ms. Infact just look at his feats in base when he was edo against km naruto and bee before he used the ms

Itachi's shuriken feat is superior than sasukes. Speed and reaction time itachi is better. We dont know whether if the db gets updated sasuke will get a 5 for speed, but until then itachi not only has the db in his favour his speed feat isnt too bad aswell and same goes for reaction time

Base Itachi would Crush Base Sasuke.

Alot of people underrate base itachi and his feat and yet he actually holds one of the most impressive feats in base.

Sasuke has surpassed itachi skill wise but I think itachi's intelligence still makes him above sasuke. If sasuke obtains the rinnegan or a sage mode (doubt but hey) then I think this is when he would just simply over power itachi.

i agree too.We saw itachi and sasuke fight it out with taijutsu and weaponary,Sasuke seem to had more advantage than itachi.However sasuke haters will think otherwise to underrate him

Did read some pages here but not every comment, here goes!

Sasuke....sucks balls.

He was traumatized(fail spelling idk?) when he were a child this as we all know had a huge impact on his psych WHICH leadts to>. Haterd is motavation yet power source, a true avenger which tobi stated. As we also have seen alot is that the sasuke is constantly getting his balls held in battles were he also get alot of aids. Haha aids.

However, Sasuke is very bad shinobi if I would state so, his observations on the battles themselves is horrible, BUT due to his MS or EMS now it gives him huge advantage on the field. More trashtalk, he is a bad analyzer he jumps here and there in to battle think he can beat everyone, he rarely understimates anyone, and he love to abuse the words kill and destory. Sasuke is this a cry baby who is easy manipulated by others and very mentally unstable ( proves the point in the kabuto fight because of itachis present , its very clear ) And because of that he is always mad..ohhhhhhhh dont forget boys anger clouds your mind and makes you lose sight over reality oh no!!!!


Itachi my my. I would praise him at least in the top , I think many ppl here would to. Intelligence, he is by far as we know it superior in abillity to use his mind, a true genius which also took a massacre at his shoulders, he is mentally trained well. This is by far the best arsenal you can get , but you do have to posses some great power to, to reach its full potenial as a elite shinobi AND he HAS great powers!??! wtf!. He can read his opponent easily more than others, he is a great analyzer and a true improvisor. ohh I can go all day long with this however cant hold the balls all day long, lets get to point!

Summary: Yes Sasuke will gain greater power than itachi, BUuuuuuuuuut in the end it allways lies within stratagy when it comes to comparing 1v1 and rationally thinking and self control. A peacefull mind at its brilliance itachi itachi......BUT NO!! POWER IS THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING YOU SAY!?

Yes i know. I've already said he was slightly better in taijutsu and speed, but like i've already said it's not enough to blitz him and you can see it when they fought before Itachi died. Sasuke could keep up with him even at the begin of the fight(when he was in normal shape. The diseases factor only came later), even if Itachi had slightly the edge(what i've said). But Sasuke uses also ninjutsu in his taijutsu and that's what you forget. He uses chidori in his blade that gaves him advantage in tai/kenjutsu against Itachi. And he has also katon and raiton jutsus at medium distance. And he has also kirin if all the preparations are over, and against that he has against an advantage against Itachi who needed to use Susanoo to protect himself.
