Are you serious???? Read the manga again. Pain wanted Naruto to feel..... PAIN... He wanted to see the power of the 9 tails. I quote "do you feel a bit of my pain now Naruto, yes.. thats it, grow in hatred bring out the power of the 9 tails"
So he pinned him down so he could feel pain. He could have left with naruto a long time before that but Nagato wanted his own revenge first, and he betrayed Obito & Madara's plan.

Order of capture and extraction are two different things my dear. They could have captured 6 first then 1 second then 9 third etc, but had to extract them in order 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9 So they simply could have captured them, kept them as hostages and extracted them in order later. i say again and for the last time PLOT HOLE

Its not a plot hole you idiot U_U Just because Obito left to pick up Sasuke instead of capture naruto does not make it a plot hole, go look at a dictionary. And they did capture 6 tails before they got the 8 tails, then right after 8 tails was "captured" Pain went for naruto.
