They still have strategy up till the end, but it does get toned down a lot while powerlevels get more of an emphasis. To me, Naruto never really felt like DBZ. As a kid, I hated DBZ and even now, I don't really like it, but I still find myself enjoying Naruto somewhat even though my enjoyment isn't as much as it used to be.

I would have to say that it became more DBZ-esque whenever naruto when into his chakra cloak mode.

Strategy prevailed right throughout the manga. They've never been ninjas; wearing orange jumpsuits and getting into drawn out brawls in big open spaces was never ninja-like.

They were assassins that moved quickly and discreetly, aiming for a quick kill that wouldn't draw attention. They weren't cut out for extended clashes.

Pain's power should be the limit. He actually had excuse to how powerful he was. I liked the idea of Rinnegan being a divine eye of destiny like the myth says. I dont like the genetics aspdct fusing it with the sharingan and whatnot.

Susano'o in itself shouldnt have been created. It completely took the ninja out of Sasuke I was so disappointed.
