Why did we stop asking ourselves how we can help our government? We run around condemning the government for trying to lead us and ask for handouts in the same breath.

It's a group effort, we can't help them when most of the government is corrupt and only care about fattening thier pockets. Meanwhile people are always yelling racial hate crimes, are uneducated, etc and can't help the government.

It's a two way street. When one side stops delivering what is promised, the other side stops supporting it. Then comes the time they do whatever they can get away with to keep the other side under control.

Because the government decides to keep things from the people. That is where it all falls to shit, there's no way to help when you don't really know the details.

Plus with the way societies system works you can't really change anything unless you get into high forms of government.

There's little help you can actually give to a government when you don't know what's going on other than obeying and following what your told.

Beyond that, they expect more but offer nothing in order to get more. Change in government starts with a change in the people but people don't want to change.
