Whats your thoughts on the eternal burninf mountain

It's an interesting new location to introduce a mountain that has eternally burning fires why does it exist.

I think maybe it could be a new sage location but then begs the question what type of animals habitat would be around an eternally burning flame.

Thoughts?

It's just some location the creators pull out thier ass for Plot reasons. Although, I think Jairya mentions this in Part 1 against Itachi and Kisame. Anyway, another Sage location? Of what tho? I doubt it.

Checked it out was referring to toad mountain and think strange for the series to have just a mountain thats externally burning for no reason. As for type of animal maybe a dragon or Phoenix.

There are fire sages so why have a fire mountain? They probably have toads.

Doesn't Jiraiya wish he had the jutsu to counter Pain's absorption, or the great toad sages could summon it
