As fans of anime, we all have people in our lives who don't understand why we watch anime and/or read manga. Whether it's people at school, family, or friends. Most of my friends are into anime as well, but my family on the other hand....Whenever my siblings and parents see me watching anime they always shake their head, it's annoying af. They think it's kiddy-ish. I always reply with "it's not a cartoon, SPONGEBOB is a cartoon" or I tell them how ignorant it is to flame something they know nothing of.

Just don't let them get to you there is always going to be who do not understand or like an interest you might have.Anime is great its there loss

I'll be fine. It's just irritating that people judge things so quickly, especially my own family. I still love em though and they love me, so it's alright. And hell yeah, anime owns.
