As did Sasuke.

If someone as dense as Naruto can feel the presence of a transmigrant and knowing that them fighting will result in death.

You don't think Sasuke, who is more intelligent, wouldn't know either?

He didn't even flinch at this because they read each other loud and clear.

And what did Sasuke do immediately after that conversation. Seek other means to eradicate Naruto (Itachi's eyes)

And Naruto proceeded to train to become a perfect jinchuriki

Sasuke was nearly blind so I don't think he had too much trouble accepting the possibility.

Neither did Naruto.

Naruto needed to get stronger than Sasuke so that he can win without them dying and accepted the benefits of being a jinchuriki

Sasuke needed to get stronger than Naruto so that he can win without him dying and accepted the benefits of his brother's eyes.

Which ironically, almost got the same result of them dying.

So you admit SM Naruto can't handle blind Sasuke.

So you admit SM Naruto can't handle blind Sasuke.

Naruto can't handle Indra and Sasuke can't handle Ashura. Naruto wasn't trying to fight Sasuke at the bridge. He was trying to get a read on him and he did which both of them came to the same conclusion.

Which is why the did the things they were trying to run away from.

Once Sasuke found the truth about Ashura and the feeling of mutual death he went full heel.

Once Naruto found out about indra and the feeling of mutual death he accepted being a jinchuriki.

So what you're saying is Blind Sauce could have killed SM Naruto.

No. Naruto saved Sakura, traded a old fashioned rasengan/Chidori mind link, found out that the next time they meet as enemies that they were going to kill each other.

Leading Naruto to get perfect Jin and Sasuke his brother's eyes.

Naruto wanted power to either prevent them from dying or dying with him.

Sasuke wanted power to kill Naruto and not die in the process.

They still ended up almost dying.

-They had a link since their first real fight:

-Their second clash:

-Towards the end:

-How is it rectoned when both Kakashi refrences a previous fight occuring in the same location in a similar fashion.

-With Zetsu watching in the distance.

I understand the connection you've found and I'll agree that it fits if you want to interpret those moments like that, but I still don't see it the same way as you. The way I view it is, again, the way I firmly believe is most likely what actually happened.

The scans of the first fight: I believe were done as nothing more of an artistic choice to show that, despite their clash, there is still a bond between the two (and not because they both happen to be reincarnations of space gods).

The scans of their second clash: I believe at that point Kishi had decided to continue to use that initial artistic choice for every significant encounter between the two, but going one step further by having Naruto and Sasuke verbally interact with each other. Plus other characters have been shown to have similar "subconscious interactions" such as Obito-Kakashi, and (if I remember correctly) Naruto-Obito.

The scans of their final clash: Again, I think that by that point Kishi had decided that a moment like this was necessary for any significant fight between Naruto/Sasuke.

As for your question about my comment on the retcon(s), even with the scans you provided I still view the whole thing as a giant --though admittedly, clever-- retcon. What Kakashi said at the time (though I don't recall those being the officially translated scans) I believe you can take at face-value; whatever the official dialogue was, he was clearly referencing Madara and Hashirama -- a parallel that would later be constantly hammered down in the manga throughout Part 2. Over the course of the manga, Kishi has constantly made characters to serve as parallels to Naruto and Sasuke and each new parallel it seemed like he would create for plot convenience (in other words, a retcon). First we had the parallel with Jiraya and Orochimaru which served to reinforce Naruto's resolve to save Sasuke from himself, then we had Madara and Hashirama which served a wide variety of things, and then at the tail-end of the story we had Indra/Ashura which served ??? (like seriously, there really was NO benefit to that plot development lmao)

If you want to view those scans as proof that Kishi has set this up from the beginning, you go for it. I won't try and hide that I've grown quite cynical over the years and have developed a habit for taking into consideration what happens behind the curtains and how they impact what's being presented. And in this case, Kishi has demonstrated a habit of making changes to previous events/explanations/details over the course of the manga more or less as he went along (and to be clear, I'm not faulting him or the manga for this - no one can plan out EVERYTHING in a 700ch manga).

Damn how many times do you have to keep telling him the same thing in order to get the message?

Such ignorance. XD

The parallels were not for plot convenience, it was for development of Naruto's character. Naruto is a empathetic character who develops off the interactions he has with others. He feels their pain as a result. He tries to learn from this and looks at the past to better the future whereas Sasuke looks to destroy the past to better the future.

As you said, nothing is going to be perfect in a weekly series spanned out over a decade with changing deadlines and editors. With what he set up in part 1 and part 2, he's shown great enough story telling for it to be not seen as a recton.

With what I said above, I do not see what of the established facts that were adjusted, ignored, or contradicted by a subsequently published work which breaks continuity.

He introduced new characters that were not referenced in part one or late into the series but that does not make it a recton.

Think about it, Naruto said, "you just cant beat Sasuke like that", "We're going to die", Obito saying "I will make you fight".

Zetsu ominously observing the fight and yet not attempting to capture Naruto right then and there. Kakashi's reference to a cycle.

Kishimoto had scattered ideas throughout the series that he could have left but with his story telling and despite restraints stitched them together with little to no continuity errors in order to give us the story.

Yes, established facts are changed but you have to observe who is telling these facts at the same time. Think about Madara's story via Obito compared to Hashirama's account.

Or Madara's account of the tablet or who defeated Kaguya compared to her own or zetsu's account.

Established facts become changed due to unreliable sources which are twists in the story.

My biggest beef are such things as Kaguya/Madara being restricted due to improper power scaling and things like Madara using susanoo while blind.

Naruto has gay feelings for Sasuke.

Valid point he felt Sasuke.

That Kiba is a Naruto fan

It all started from him Naruto's litterally blowing him.

Chapter 490

they're pretty similar honestly. Kiba even uses shadow clones and wants to be Hokage(he dreamed of it in IT), but his reserves are too awful to make more than one.

They've got no answer to Naruto's own admittance, except buts and ifs. Naruto even flashes back to the Sasuke on the bridge as he makes that statement.

It means full power SM Naruto equals almost blind, exhausted and no Chakra MS Sasuke.

I can hear the rustle of the jimmies already :Sparks:

You're partially right Naruto admits he would die as would Sasuke and all he knew of Sasuke was 3 tomoe Sasuke. I gathered that SM Naruto = 3 tomoe near drained Sasuke.

OT: see all of the above.

Naruto was preparing to beat Sasuke's ass without killing him and that's what he did.

Naruto himself admits he and Kyuubi and asura will die if they fight a blind Sauce....and indra.......only the salty fanboys will interpret that into some holding back bullshit scenario..........just like they Sasuke used 8.5 bijuu chakra
........like buddy......Kyuubi has infinite chakra........had Sasuke fully used all of Kyuubi's chakra + all beasts thier wouldnt be any Naruto verse thereafter.....keep that in mind......Sasuke needed EMS not to help him fight but to give it his best.........................he was blind, a blind guy cant win against someone with perfect vision unless you're madara can he.....?

The fanboys uselessly twisting it into something as if eyes give Sasuke physical power, speed and stamina which kyuubi gives Naruto ..........what a joke.

Sasuke wanted EMS to kick Naruto's ass in his fullest.

Naruto and Sasule were not transmigrants since birth.
They became in some point of there life.
When Naruto clashed with Sasuke in the bridge, it shows Naruto using a chidori while Sasuke was using a rasengan which represents that they are the same but opposite.

That is when Naruto knew that inside of Sasuke was something similar to him.
