IMO, One Piece Film Z was one of those movies which didn't bore me and surpass my expectations. Very good story line and fights, good character development, good pacing are few of those things which make this movie great. It's my favourite movie so far. The only complaint I have about this movie is the vague ending. Rating:9.4/10

Spirited away is my second fav movie. I watched it when I was still 8 years old and after all those years, rewatching it again was enough to place it in my list of the best movies of all time. Rating: 8.5

Naruto movie 1(More like personal opinion): There isn't much about this movie and if I had to criticise it, I would have to admit that it is just above average. What makes it special to me is that it is the first Naruto movie + it has a 'distinct quality' which appeals to me even now. It's one of these movies which come with a nostalgic feeling. @ Naruto fans Give it a try if you want some part 1 Naruto quality.
Rating-6.5

Yukie Fujikaze from the first movie

These are my favourites not because of the ratings but because of the unique quality.

One piece Film Z and Fate/Stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. Not sure if the latter is considered a movie, but oh well. v_v

The ending to Film Z was unclear though. It's the only thing that kept me from giving the movie 9.8/10.

Probably The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (the Steins;Gate film isn't far behind). Original films, it's either Wolf Children or Spirited Away.

1. Wolf Children: Ame and Yuki>>> all others
2. Spirited Away
3. Akira
4. Howl's Moving Castle
5. Ponyo
6. Totoro
7. Grave of the Fireflies

I've seen some of the Naruto and DragonBall Z movies, but none of them are worth mentioning, in my opinion. I also have Children Who Chase Lost Voices, Garden of Words, Redline, and Summer Wars on DVD but haven't gotten around to watching them. I expect Garden of Words and Summer Wars to be really good.

Any Makoto Shinkai film is worth checking out, and Garden is supposed to be his best one yet (maybe #2 for me personally). Summer Wars didn't quite live up to its hype for me, but it was still a nice and intriguing watch.

I know I've heard that any Shinkai film looks absolutely amazing (5 Wallpapers per Second), and I've heard the same for Garden of Words, so that should be a good watch. After watching Wolf Children, I'm excited for anything Mamoru Hosoda puts out. I see him as being the next Miyazaki (maybe not that great, but definitely up there). Have you happened to see The Girl Who Leapt Through Time?

I just watched Hosoda's newest movie's trailer (Bakemono no Ko) and I'm excited. :bouncy:

Man, I know exactly what you mean. The land of snow was what gave me that nostalgic feeling of when i used to hype Naruto. Many full-animation scenes, the surroundings are nicely displayed..you really feel the story and depth of the surroundings. That's why Naruto is utter shit nowadays..as they neglected the full animation of battles and the depth of the anime. sigh..I watched that movie a few weeks back and for the first time in years, I relived that happy nostalgicness I got from Naruto.

What do you mean ? I really liked it actually. It got me right in the feels with that Zephyr flashback, beating up the bullies and being like "I am Z, the hero of justice!" It was a nice contrast. The beginning and the end of Z v_v

Oh and as Aokiji said...He followed his dreams until the end.

In no particular order.

-Akira
-Spirited Away
-Grave of the Fireflies
-Sword of the stranger
-Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

I'd probably even put The Last on the list seeing as how it's probably the best Naruto movie. The only ones that come close are the first Naruto movie and probably the first Shippuuden movie.....
