My favorite is Second Generation and the Second Generation remakes. Unless I'm missing the newest games' details, the second generation is the only set of games which feature two continents to explore instead of just one.


If you're an RPG nut like me, I would get a 3DS.

Gold, it was the first game I got for the gameboy color.

Up to you if you want the 3ds. I bought the XL to play kingdom hearts and fire emblem, but then I got bored with it and didn't touch it for 2 months. So I sold it back on ebay.

My favorite Pokemon game was Emerald. I remember begging my Dad for it.
I finally got it and it ended up being my favorite Pokemon game. My first Pokemon game was Sapphire.
After that, I played like, all the other main games. Literally.
Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen/Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/HeartGold/SoulSilver/Black/White/Black2
I've played them all!

...and Yes you should get a 3DS for Pokemon X and Y.
You get to SIT ON BENCHES AND VIEW THE SCENERY! Never before did we get to do that.​

Platinum. Even though almost everyone hates Gen 4. Platinum was the most fun to play in the series for me. HeartGold comes in second and then Crystal.
