What's wrong with the english dub

I'll admit some voices are a little off but in the subs the characters pretty much sound the same.What are your opinoins?

Eh, to me the emotion and personality of the character doesn't get put accross like the japanese voice actors do.

im not too much of a purist to not get down on some dubs every now and again. but EVERY villain (even oro) sound way more sinister in japanease. just something about that language that sounds badass lol

It's not really as bad as people make out, just think about it this way, at least it isn't 4kids.

The English dub sounds has more distinction in the voices but the Japanese voice actors can act out the voices better. That is what I have to say on this subject

did you get a load of Tobi as Tobi in the dub? i heard him for 5 seconds and i didnt need to hear anymore.

america doesnt get this show, they make it a cartoon

japanese take it seriously and go beyond the 2d to make it much more real

Seriously, watch the 4kids One Piece dub and you will be grateful for this and every other dub done by another company, Naruto got Viz and One piece initially got 4kids, you should be grateful, One Piece would be a lot more popular if it was as lucky as Naruto.
