Nothing would change. Even if i can meet them again what´s the purpose when i´m "stuck" with them (this sounds bad i know). What i mean is i´d never meet new people to love or care about... In buddhism we say love is the feeling to feel abolutly free. You shouldn´t try to keep someone as long as possible for your own sake, u need to let them free and than only u can feel true love with somebody. People die that´s neither good nor bad... In the end u´ll die as well and if u believe in afterlife u´ll see them again, or if u believe in rebirth u´ll meet them again.... Nothing and no one is gone forever as long as u keep them in your heart... And think about that if ur passed loved ones could really see you would they be happy for u to throw away ur life to live in dreams?
