whats worse, shots or blood drawn

When I was in the 10th grade I completely ripped apart my hamstring, I was at the hospital for 2 straight weeks. While I was there two things happened that stand out. The first was just creepy, I woke up to a nurse drawing blood from me at like 2 AM. The other, a nurse was putting a catheter in my arm, she removed the seal before connecting the thing to it, and blood was just flying everywhere. I'm hemophobic so it was a very bad experience lol.

I hope that's didn't happen dude. I would have fainted and died

Takes some nurses forever to find my veins for blood. I have no idea why. My arms are't big or anything. Maybe it's like blood flow or depends if I ate or not that morning. Whatever.


So, everything is okay. Shots and blood doesn't bother me at all

Non doctor related, but I'd say dentists would. It's scary because someone is in my mouth. Also, although I haven't had this, I'd hate to have eye surgerys or something

I hardly ever go to the doctor...in fact, I never go to the doctor. I also don't like needles; it's not too bad when a trained professional is doing it to you, but if I had to stick a needle in my own arm I can tell you right now that sh*t ain't happenin' (that's how you know I'll never do heroine xd).

I have to say blood being drawn. The other day I was at the hospital cause I've been having health problems for 6 weeks and they had 4 tubes. As soon as they got to the third one I started to feel faint,lost my colors and wanted to puke (but didn't throw up).

The funny part was, this black guy (who was gay) that was getting the blood started yelling for someone to hold the puke tray cause he didn't want to be around me when I was about to puke. He was like "the sound of it makes me want to puke" _O-


Anyways,I don't have a problem seeing blood or anything and I'm fine when they only have one tube to get my blood..but if it's 4 I would feel like fainting.

I have never had my blood drawn, but I am sure if I did it would make me pretty sick by looking at it being drawn. I would probably have to look away the whole time. I have nothing against blood, but I think if I saw that much coming out of my body I would not be happy.

I dislike shots, but when I do have to get them, and it has been forever since I last got a shot, I don't really care. Sure, they pinch a little bit, for about a second, but overall they are not that bad.

In short, getting my blood drawn would probably bother me more than getting a shot.

Blood drawn. O_O
You could see it being drawn into the syringe. You could see the color of you blood and how much they took from you and you could see tiny bubbles. When they finally put it inside the tiny vial, you could see it gushing inside and for some reason you could hear it flowing and slowly filling the.vial.

It's worth it in the end, to keep your mouth in top shape. Still a little scary though, but yeah, numbness does help a lot. Feels cool.

Well, for now I don't have to worry about giving blood. I'm under the weight limit xd
Shots don't bother me though, except on the rare occasion when it hits my bone.
Then it hurts like sh*t.
