Because they are nervous about Naruto getting the other half, and they know that if Sasuke isn't given something new then he wouldn't stand a ghost of a chance against Naruto's next form. To put you guys at ease, we don't know that Sasuke can't just do some super saiyan type screaming or something and bring out his PS already. We haven't seen much of his abilities with EMS.

BUT, you still need to take into consideration the thought of how much more he will resemble Rikudou next transformation. It's going to be uncanny as hell if isn't uncanny enough already. He's going to be capable of some pretty godlike stuff. To think that his speed and chakra reserves could exceed what they are now is insanity.
