What's with the Sasuke vs Madara debate?

These threads have always made me scratch my head considering the somewhat recent revelation that they are both reincarnations of Indra and thus technically the same person. Madara and Sasuke are both awesome in their own way and both have many amazing feats, but idk maybe it's a bad thing or impossible to wish for two fanbases to just combine to end this cycle of hatred lol.
