What's with everyone's obsession with the Rikudo Sage being an Uzumaki?

I just want to know what's your reason? Is it because you guys are fanboys of the Uzumaki clan and you want the most powerful shinobi ever to represent that clan or is it that you theorists are just in denial to avoid the reality in which you were wrong? I'm not bashing you guys, your theories were very well thought out and written but in the end you were still wrong, it happens.

This reminds me of the time when Obito was being revealed and the chapters leading up to 599 made it so obvious that it was Obito, yet the fans ignored the obvious hints and stuck with their ridiculous theories. And once Obito was revealed I still saw Izuna, Kagami threads.

It's a fictional story that a man can write in any way he imagines and pleases so I don't see a reason to be in such denial once your prediction is proven to be wrong.

I just want to make a few more points

1. Him having 'faided-red hair' in a recent episode of an anime that has been known to screw up on many things in the past isn't exactly a valid argument.

2. Being a direct ancestor to the Uzumaki clan doesn't make him an Uzumaki, the same way his Elder son isn't an Uchiha and his Younger son isn't a Senju.

3. Until proven otherwise, he is Hagoromo of the Ootsutsuki clan.

I had a thread where I stated that he was the ancestor of Uzumaki and Senju. My statements were not good, but my hunch was correct.

I didn't like the theory of him being an Uzumaki.

If we're talking feats then I believe that the Uchiha clan has the best resumè in the series. But if we're going by hype then I think..

Can't be Uzumaki since that is a Shinobi Clan and Shinobi didn't exist before the Sage learned ninjutsu. And if the name of his father was Uzumaki by chance, it is not related to the current breed of Uzumaki.
