He belongs on the top 10 list. I don't care where. But he is top 10 material.
Once again I will explain why he is so powerful. The third man to share the title "God of Shinobi" alongside 2 beasts (Hashirama Senju and the Sage)

- - He is often referred to as "History's Strongest" and a "Genius"
- 「プロフェッサー●[...]里にある全ての術を知り尽くし、かつそれらを自在に使いこなすことに由来。」
- Named "The Professor: [...] The origin [of this nickname] lies in him knowing thoroughly all the jutsu that exist in the village and also being able to use them easily at will.'
- Anyone who is trusted by Hashirama and Tobirama to protect the village during the wars is bound to be powerful. It's common sense that he is worthy of the title Hokage since it was given to him by 2 monsters of Hokages. Learning the skills and knowledge from the 1st and 2nd, Hiruzen was able to get the village through 3 Great Shinobi World Wars. Having the longest reign of Hokage. 40+ Years.

-An Old 5% Hiruzen sealing both 25% Edo Hokages with clones in complete darkness. Don't care how weak the Hokages were. Hiruzen was in a far off worse condition to fight. This is an excellent feat.

-A battle exhausted Hiruzen with a part of his soul left easily disarming Orochimaru and speed owned him behind his blind side to catch him in close range. You can easily see with these scans that Orochimaru was actually pushed to try at the last second and looked quite frightened. This is THE Orochimaru who without arms was playing around with 4 Tailed Naruto.

Using these scans, It would be possible that if Orochimaru didn't have his Edos, he would have been easily killed by Hiruzen.

- While having the sword of Kusangi pierced through him, Hiruzen was still able to hold Orochimaru's soul with the Reaper for an 1 hour long showing extreme willpower!

Despite many on the Base saying that he cannot, Manga disagrees as Orochimaru (Hiruzen student) states his ability for "Knowing and being able to use all the jutsu that exist in the Leaf"
This includes mastery over all 5 elements to a godly extent and mastery of all forms of shinobi combat.

Funny when people use the excuse of hiruzen being old and saying he is at 5% which is highly untrue (but when hashirama fans say hashirama was at a certain percent they claim otherwise and say he is near his full strength)

also look at onhoki he was messing shit up while having back problems (carried madara's giant meteor) would you say he is at 5% ? because he is more or less at hiruzens age, if onhoki is at 5% aswell meaning he will solo anymore if you added 95% of his missing strength by old age


I'd like to clarify that any other hokage should be able to to the same with without much difficulty (even if you add old age to them ) give them similar chakra to hiruzen it should be fine(atleast accept if orochimaru went there meaning to kill fast without messing around hiruzen would have been dead in less than a minute), i do accept hiruzen's hype but alot of characters atm are above or at his level (any top 1-10 should manage against a prime hiruzen if they are at their primes).

Well, the thing with Ohnoki is that he doesn't use any Taijutsu at all, and he apperantley doesn't have that much less chakra in his old age.

With Hiruzen however, it's not the same thing. Close combat with Enma is a key part in his fighting style, so ofcourse old age has made him a lot weaker. Speed, strength and stamina are all lower according to the Data Book.

The reason why the old age argumment applies to Hiruzen more than any other character is that it has been mentioned so many times that he was a lot weaker than in his prime. Such as Enma's comment that he was performing ''miserable'', himself saying that he found the staff a lot heavier than he expected, and the random anbu's comments.

As far as the percentage of strength goes, that is just pure speculation .

But every character has got a huge power boost since PT1, so it's only natural that this applies to Hiruzen aswell.
He has the same body that he died in, if he's ''almost at full power'' like Hashirama and Tobirama, is up for debate. But still, he created 5 Elemental blasts that are as big as a Madara's Katon Gouka Mekkyaku, and they countered the Senjutsu enchanced blast from the Buddha.

I'm not including Hiruzen in my top 10 at the moment because of lack of feats, but i believe that he was atleast on par with the likes of Tobirama and Minato, heck he might've been stronger. But i still think that Hashirama is the strongest Kage.
