bc they tried to go overboard. Adding way too many people per fight anddrug them on for 100+episodes. At a time. They milked it

There was this 1 anime whose name I don't remember, but all the males in it had little to no clothes on (yes literally) and yet it tried to pull straight in with it's awesome fight scenes which pissed me off even more. On top of that almost every guy on that anime was pervy and most of the chicks hung around the dude that was completely naked like it was no big deal yet they were fully clothes (all of them) wearing tight armor at the skimpiest. I hope that anime burns in hell!!!!
