Whats the range limit on Kamui ?

What's the range limit on Kamui ?
I think its probably as far as Kakashi can see but in the beginning of Shippuden he managed to land a Kamui on Deidera who was flying quite far above.
I think the further Kakashi is aiming it the less accurate it becomes and could hit other areas of the body or even outright miss.
One other question can Kakashi change the size of the Kamui at will or does it depend on the size of the object he is trying to Kamui ?
For example when he used Kamui on Hachibi.

Yep he can change the size of the kamui and he has already done it in this current fight. He used a small kamui on the rasengan BM Naruto was holding to feint a warping, but at the last second he increased the hole to warp the clone instead. Concerning the range, databook says it's All Ranges

yes it is more likely as far as the eye can see .. as for how big the kamui is i think it stays the same size it just sucks the enemy in ...
as for the accuracy thing, when he used it on deidara he had little practice.. so naturally aiming kamui would be a problem .. but yes i would say the further away and enemy is the harder to target they are
