Whats the point of sasuke trying to become Hokage?, let alone staying in the Village?

but thats the thing, no offense but just because he wants to keep the rivalry going doesint mean he should resort into "Bad Writing", throughout all of shippuden, sasuke has went from bad,to good, to bad, to good, to bad, to good and he keeps switching up sasuke's goals and making people change his mind throughout the series and to be honest, theirs no possible way sasuke can even become hokage, no one would even consider the idea, espically sense everybody in the hidden leaf hate's him now and preety much pays him no mind, the only way is if he did it by force, and we would get a good fight but when its all said and done and naruto's hokage, what type of ending would it be, if sasuke wasint back in the village on the good side? sense naruto has been chasing after sasuke for mostly all of the show.

now sasuke got over his hartred and follows itachi's will, with "i ll be the one to erase the past" he meant the errors from the past made by the ninja world so other people will no longer suffer like he and his brother did, he doesn't care of what the village thinks about him, it makes sense considering his personality and his past feelings

Sasuke almost definitely won't become Hokage, he might become sort of an advisor to Naruto or something along those lines, but Konoha and the rest of the Ninja World wouldn't accept him as Hokage
