Got to think about that some more it myself dont think I've been surprised about something in a while.

Doesn't have to relate to anything academic can be a personal epiphany you had aswell.

i was shown this tweet earlier today and further looked into it. but 350 elephants were found dead the other day, different ages but all around the same area. they dont actually know how the elephants died, it wasnt poaching or any type of disease in the habitat or food they were eating

they just checked out this mofo it seems. some shit with the brain theyre thinking, seems like it just turned off. but they dont know exactly what and why they all died around the same time. 350? at the same time? that shits crazy

I recently found out that figs are very interesting things :facts:

Wiki says

"The fig fruit develops as a hollow, fleshy structure called the that is lined internally with numerous flowers. The tiny flowers bloom inside this cup-like structure. Although commonly called a fruit, the synconium is botanically an , a type of . The small fig flowers and later small single-seeded (true) fruits line its interior surface. A small opening or , visible on the middle of the fruit, is a narrow passage that allows the , to enter the inflorescence and pollinate the flowers, after which each fertilized (one per flower, in its ) develops into a seed. At maturity, these 'seeds' (actually single-seeded fruits) line the inside of each fig.
