[Question] What's the difference between Pamu Pamu No Mi and Bomu Bomu No Mi?

What's the difference between them? Both can make things explode, is there difference?

I thought the same thing when I read that chapter, but the Bomu Bomu can make other things that don't come from the user explode while the Pomu Pomu can only make himself explode. Possibly. Too close for me.

Easy enough:

Bomu Bomu - You turn yourself into a bomb, and can then bombard other stuff with your body's excretions.
Pamu Pamu - You turn other stuff into bombs, and make them detonate on their own.

Besides, Bomb is about an exothermic explosion, like gun powder, tnt, etc. Pamu Pamu is more like a super-inflation of the inorganic material, which ultimately causes the object to break and explode, by expansion, like a balloon.

I should remind you that everything that explodes doesn't just explode but it 1st expands and when it can no longer expand then it breaks or rather say it explodes. So summing it up to saying the Pamu Pamu fruit creates explositions as the bomu fruit is not quite wrong... So I would like you to take back the statement of saying I was wrong U_U

Explode is more violent. You would say a volcano exploded. Burst is on a lesser degree. You would say a bubble burst.

So by going with that it would seem you think the bomu fruit has more explosive power than the pamu fruit....

Basically, with Bomu, you place a tnt charge on a brick wall, and explode with the wall. With Pamu, you make the brick wall dilate and then it explodes.

Pamu is a pump effect like yo tire at the garage, too much air in and pop goes the weasel(dont try this or the weasel goes pops with u too), bomu is the kind similar to the explosion devices tey search for at airports.

Well yeah that is more accurate Lily... but than this means the Pamu is weaker than the Bomu fruit... Luffy should be able to beat that loser lessly like how he did with Mr. 5

Both make things explode in the end but the PPnM can do other things too I guess?
Plus both DF's use different methods.

I've did some extensive thinking on this when the chapter came out. and i think i got it down. bomb bomb makes the person into a bomb man. he can detonate any part of himself. or every part of himself. due to this he can create explosive projectiles. the rupture rupture is similar; but goes like this. it's not that gladius ruptures the closes he is wearing (though he can do that to. as shown with his hat.) he can actually rupture himself. if it was only his sleeve he ruptured then his hands wouldn't of extended with the lengthening of his inflating sleeves. (to shorten this up because it's kind of depressing me.) he can rupture himself, in an explosive fashion. but everything else is ruptured as if it were inflated. and i also suffice a guess, that he isn't immune to shrapnel. as mr. 5 is to explosions.
