What's the diff between chidori and raikiri

Kakashi's raikiri is supposed to be then then a chidori but they seem like the same to me. Can someone explain?

They look like they do the same damage and if sasuke mastered other forms of chidori like senbon and spear I have no idea why he can't use this more advanced one

Raikiri - Focused and blue
Chidori - Slightly less focused and white

Look at the uses and I'm pretty sure you can figure it out.
