[Question] What's the deal with the cloudflare protection?

Everytime since this morning since I logged in i needed to solve a captcha? Did i do something wrong?

Thank God I'm not the only one, I've not had to do that today tho, but it's been happening to me randomly for 3 months plus, but I always thought it was my ISP playing pranks

Happened with me too a few weeks ago. In my case the ISP was having issues and my IP was being verified because of that every time.

Oh okay so it's not an actual issue with the base?

You're welcome. You should probably check with your ISP if you're facing the same issue with other sites as well.

I started seeing the error when I changed my ISP and no one else seemed to have it at that time, so I'm sure it's an ISP thing,
I'd say its due to multiple people using one proxy or something like that making cloud flare think you're a robot/traffic generator

Cloudflare is a way to protect against ddos and other malicious attacks, when cloudflare have sensed malicious behavior from a certain IP range or even a country that is flagged it might require people within that IP range or region to solve a captcha to confirm that they are human rather than bots trying to attack the site.

I wish they'd have a process of whitelisting certain IPs, if even for short periods of time.

Search for your IP on

You must be registered for see links

and you will see why you get the captcha. Pretty sure there is ways to whitelist however that would be up to V to do.

It's my entire range. I have a dynamic ip anyways. It's no use. ;_;

Then you should probably invest in a VPN.
