Personally ive never cared that much for cod. More of a halo fan. But there are millions of people that play cod and all they care about are their kd and going up a prestege(which is so stupid) cod takes no skill. Anyone can rank up by just playing the game. At least in halo 3 you actually needed skill to rank up(aside from the boosters). So hearing about people hitting a new prestige is just worthless to me. its like yeah ok...you play hundreds of games everyday..we get it... only thing i can say is good about cod is the story mode(now that is just amazing) but aside from that i dont think its worth the hype.

It's a game people think are fun. That's it. Many people think different things are fun, but this is something a huge amount of people have an interest in. That's the it factor for CoD. People just simply like it xd

The thing I hate about COD is.... it is worthless. It is like taking the awesome of battlefield then mixing it with the fast pace of halo. What comes out is worse smelling than what comes out of my a$$. The only reason people play it is because their friends do. It has good matchmaking tools and its great for playing with friends but that is about where anything good ends.
I am a huge Battlefield fan and I like to play halo as well. However both are a different type of game and should be kept separate.
