Physical attraction: Westerners really don't see that many far Eastern people at all except on TV/movies. In the US especially there really aren't that many. On top of that, there really isn't another race with such an extremely different facial structure. In fact, when my dad was in the Air Force stationed in Okinawa during Vietnam, he was really shocked by the people and their culture. He had never seen people that looked and acted like they did, so it took a little while to adjust. He still talks about how kind they were though. So a large part of it is how different they look and act; those who are attracted to this find Eastern Asians to be the most attractive of all.

Psychological attraction: we usually consider (as white males) white females to often be untrustworthy, b*tchy and arrogant (mostly due to media). White females consider white males to be untrustworthy, bastards and arrogant (mostly due to media). However, someone of another race seems like they wouldn't be quite like this, so that immediately puts many off their own race. This doesn't make Eastern Asians a better choice necessarily, however, combined with the physical attraction and add to that their culture, it often goes that way.

its the anime, k-pop, asian dancers, and culture that's become a hype. But in general, the asian girls that are cute are exceptional because of their interesting faces. They're eyes are hypnotizing..
