Please read my comment. Also, he did not fear the Uchiha. Tobirama feared the evil that Madara became, and did not want another Uchiha to fall into that despair. So if he feared anything it was Madara, but even then he wasn't afraid to go and face him.

Honestly he didn't even truly oppress them...had he done so, they wouldn't be a "Noble Clan" of Konoha. Oppression would be the complete and utter suppression of anything Uchiha, and yet he gave them a key role in the village, kept them as a Noble Clan, and even had an Uchiha in his personal squad...intrusting him along with the rest of his team with the village's future. He strongly disliked the Uchiha...that's obvious, but he didn't go and wipe out the clan for it. Not to mention the reasons for disliking them are just. They are ironically the same reason Madara decided not to continue his dream as a child, and that would be because Uchiha killed his family members.

If Tobirama wasn't such an asshat that evil would have never existed. He feared the potential of power that every Uchiha could reach. Of course they were one of the Noble clans as they were producing the most talented Shinobi, and were the clan of the co-founder of the Leaf Village and the guardians of the people. That key role you speak of is just a way to keep them under control and keep them out of politics. The police station was said to have replaced the old prison for crying out loud, if that's not symbolism IDK what is. Kagami was probably in his squad and forced to spy on his own people just as Itachi was, or another one of Tobirama's experiments to learn more of the Sharingan.

Do you think Hashirama would have let this all happen? Do you think Hashirama would let his fear control his actions? No, because Hashirama was a real man.

Also, who allows an oppressive and hateful Necromancer to become Hokage anyway? Boy was so scared he was trying to figure out how to bring Hashi back to protect him LMAO!

seriously how does he have soo many fans??? i mean his character design looks really cool but other than that i dont see what makes him soo special at the moment. we know he is a great water user and that he created edo tensei and has space/time jutsu that we DONT KNOW OF YET. he doesnt even seem cool to be around lol and he (in a way) help start a vicious cycle. i promise im not hating or anything i just want to know what makes him special to his fans and to give me a better understanding or even make me a fan
