Well yeah Naruto kept saying the whole time that the Alliance no Jutsu will defeat Madara. Now it's he + Sasuke.

I agree but if you didnt see this coming like 100 hundred chapters ago then you must have been sleeping. Worse part is I dislike both their characters.
