After deciding to finally take a look at the Boruto anime what I find most interesting is how the older generation all seem nice and relaxed in comparison to what they all had to deal with. It's also very interesting how the younger generation are completely oblivious to what their parents and adult shinobi of the village had to go through.
While I understand the adults from Part 1 Naruto understood shinobi going to war and dying was a way of life they all had sorrow and moments of pain that they showcased at one particular point in the series:
Examples:
Iruka parents (ep 1)
Hiruzen choices about oro
Jiraiya choices about Oro
Tsunade choices about dan
Sasuke orphan
Naruto orphan
Kakashi Father
etc...
To me it seems like the Boruto series is more superficial in its showcasing as NO ONE seems to be affected by the craziness that happened unlike in the first series where every character had some type of burden or sorrow to deal with.
Thoughts?
