What's Kishi trying to show by the team Minato flashbacks? Redemption?

It's almost like he's flicking between good and evil in Obito. He tried to create a tragic character in him when Madara controlled him, showing Rin and the rest of team Minato in flashbacks which led us to believe that Obito was turning good, but now that's he's the Jinchuuriki he's bad again? At the moment I just can't see Kishi not giving Obito's character a somewhat happy ending as he is remembering the past. Is it meant to show that he's too far gone or that he is showing hints of redemption?

He's gone waaay to far in my opinion and if he does have a change of heart,

I want it to be after everything is destroyed and hes about to settle the final blows then sees what he's done and stops himself/kills himself.

yea it would but I bet u he's gonna have one of those moments where he regrets what he's done when he's close to death and has some more flashbacks

There's still the whole situation with Madara's 'trump card' so there is a chance. Hope not though.

Classic Kishi though. Every time he's had a conflicted character he used these flashbacks as a way to add depth to them. The thing here is that it isn't as deep as when Sasuke took on Naruto and we got a ton of flashbacks mixed in with the fighting.

Obito is not their to be good or evil because He is not their period, please get it in your head Obito's consciousness is trap in the Juubi,He is not in control. The Juubi is and the Juubi is reacting, not thinking the only think left of Obito at this time is Obito's ability to focus and the Juubi is using that to make Its attacks more effective. No amount of tacking to the Juubi will work to reach it. All anybody can do is fight or flee, except Naruto the Juubi will follow Him any ware He goes. All Naruto can do is fight the Juubi.

Kishi wouldn't just get rid of Obito without announcing it. Also that would render the whole conflict between Naruto and Obito as useless.

Dos not have to He is showing you Obito got over His head in thinking His conciseness would automatically take control of the Juubi Obito dark side can't compete with the Juubi dark side think of it this way. Obito is one drop of water falling into the Juubi that is the ocean. Bee and Naruto had training to get rid of their dark side at the waterfall of truth,Obito did not. Obito's is right now like one of the lost souls that Naruto saw in Kurama when He tried to take Kurama chakra. Minato call out to Obito to stop, what did the Juubi do? It had a question mark over it's head and said O..bi..to? It dint understand.
