Sasuke's asexual right now but I think and I'd like it best if he ends up with Sakura.

First, not only is Karin a typical fangirl and an animated version of Rihanna, Karin AND Sasuke never really had an emotional development together.

Second, Sakura is better because she is not a typical fangirl. Why? Sakura invested her emotions and her whole development on Sasuke. However, I'd expect the b**b-rubbing and the "Kyaaa you're so cool Sasuke-kun!" From her character because Kishimoto's sexist like that. I can only hope he'd lessen that. It's so annoying.

Third, go on and say that Sakura is a fodder, but how about Karin? Sure she's a sensor and is a magical, walking, healing apple but Sakura ACTUALLY knows how to fight and heal other people -- without having to have any orgasms.

I think SasuKarin's only so popular right now because Karin's the most conventional female character at the moment to be paired with Sasuke. I think it's because of that "Sorry, Karin." part that shippers are rejoicing, but that actually says more on Sasuke's sudden change in aura rather than hope for SxK.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Sakura and Sasuke's next meet-up. After all, Sakura is the only non-familial female character which Sasuke emotionally opened up to ("Thank you.") even if he knocked her out after his half-assed attempt.

Naruto is a shounen manga, not a shoujo one. As much as a fangirl like me would love to see pairings, I'm not expecting much...

BUT I would like to end this by saying that "Thank you" is very important to the Japanese and all the canon couples, like Minato and Kushina, used the expression more than "I love you." I guess I am going down with the SxS ship no matter what.

Agreed. I think SasuxKarin was only paired because haters are jealous of Sakura and they just wanted to brag it and say Karin the best cause Sasuke wanted her as a comrade on Hebi/Taka.

I mean for some reason Kishi kept that possibility alive through the whole series, so why kill it now? I mean isn't it already way too late to do that?
