See, like, saskue was like with the whole plan, for tobi and Madara + Kabuto. But itachi appears, and puts a hole in their plan. Now he's back in? I dont get it....

Mmm.. I don't think he rejoined the Akatsuki or anything. Sasuke has been labeled as an avenger, and now his target is Konoha (well, that might change after he visits the one who knows all). He'd probably do almost anything to reach his goals.

Well all Sasuke wants is revenge. So he joined Akatuski so they can help him get revenge on the Leaf. Then after he fights Bee, the kages and kills Danzo. Sasuke transplanted Itachi's eyes with the help of Tobi and Sasuke gets EMS. He kills the Zetsu in order to test his new powers and goes to take out Konoha. Then he meets up with Itachi and you know the rest.

Sasuke never cared about Tobi's goals. He just wants revenge and to learn the truth. In fact I don't think he was even aware a war was going on when he even met Itachi.
