The comment is about his skill. The narrator comments on how Boruto managed to do three things at once- restrain Sarada’s movements, control his two kage bunshin, and strike the panda bear in the vitals.
Then, verbatim it’s

But honestly Boruto pulling off a feat that Prodigies failed to do makes him a Prodigy/Genius himself.

It all goes back to portrayal. People thinking that he used a device which he was tricked in to makes anything he has done before any less credible can suck it

Right but then again those people who master things quickly have a very high understanding of how things work. Think about it. if you Master a programming language like C++ within a year, then when learning a new programming language, you should master it within a month. All due to understanding the fundamental of how things work when learning the first language.

This is also why people who're good at math, learn things at faster pace!
