What's a Grey Rep Bar?

I've seen the green rep bars (good) and the occasional red rep bar (bad).

But what does a grey rep bar mean?

In addition to what has been said,if you try to create to accounts on one ip and you try to give yourself some rep it turns grey aswell.

If you're talking about people with grey REp bars it means they hid there rep, usually premium member have this option...if some one gives u rep and it's grey it means the dude doesn't have any reping power and thus the rep isnt effective ..
