whatever happened to naruto saying believe it? i feel like it fit his character really well. im not saying he should say it as often as he says dattebayo, but still a character should stick with his catchphrase! do you guys know when the last episode he said it was?

I think I read it was just a poor translation of dattebayo so as the series went on they got rid of it.

It was a dattebayo translation he still says dattebayo in japanese. The believe it thing got gay so maybe thats why its not there anymore.

when it will mess up the english dub is when the dub reachs where the current japanese anime is and kushina asks naruto if he talks like she did with the dattebayo and bee picking on him for always saying dattebayo. no what lines are the going to put into the dub to replace that part of the conversation.

i think they might bring back believe it just for that part. they might bring it back for bees rap revelation as well.

It's annoying so they probably just got rid of it for the english audience. Stil says dattebayo though. What do the subs translate it as? "You know?"

S'same as everyone else said. It was one of the closest translations they could get to, "Dattebayo!" for the English Dub. I think I see what you mean, though; even there he doesn't say it much anymore :/
