What your personal opinion of Obito?

My personal opinion is that he's a lost cause. How would he even be able to make things right if he changes, even as a god? He could be like, "I'm sorry, I'll do this thing for you, it's the least I can do with all the bullshit I caused." Even if he pulled a Nagato and brought dead people back, he still can't bring back lost property, cure people of PTSD, etc.

People are fighting Obito just to survive, but their hard work better be worth a whole lot more than just "Whew we managed to convince him not to destroy everything," if he changes his mind. If they kill him, and stop Madara and end the fight, I think it still needs to have a much bigger payoff than just regular survival.

Most developed character in the manga, people don't like him for the most part because he isn't Izuna, and they don't understand his reasoning

Probably the most polarizing character I've ever seen. Very influential in his series and even in the fandom. The guy takes mediocre themes and always seems to add something to it (whether good or bad). One of the only characters in shonen that you simply can't ignore.

He accomplishes everything I need him to accomplish as a villain. He's a constant threat to the hero of this story, and has a valid connection to him. A few dips here and there, but overall, he's a well-crafted villain. I have my issues, but they're not too big. I troll his character a lot in comments, but I do very much enjoy Obito Uchiha. One of the few Uchihas that made my investment worth it.

If Kishimoto wanted to make a tragic hero, he should've at least read Shakespeare, the greatest tragic writer ever.

one of my favs though I used to like him more before he became the juubi-jin which turned him into one of the most bandwagoned characters

I like Obito, but he could've been handled/developed a LOT better.

Obito being a evil Naruto? Good!
Obito being the Jubi Jinchuriki? Good!
Obito trying to take over the world? Good.
Obito doing it for rin? NO

Though, that would be more tolerable if he didn't constantly think of rin and make his other reasons seem obsolete.

Edit: I still wish he was Izuna though.
