If you pick up the Death Note, you have to kill somebody in 13 days, or you'll die. Sooner or later you'll get power hungry like Light and try too create a new world... I know you'll have to pick it up to know what it is. At that moment, your fate is sealed.

OT: If I found a Death Note, I'd kill everyone that did bad, and eventually I'd kill people just to kill people. You can't really say you won't kill people because I know in your heart you have a dark side. Even if it's a bit of it, you still have a dark side. Light's dark side grew bigger and bigger until it consumed all of his good side. He then turned evil. If I found it, I would just kill people and end up dying myself. There's nothing you can do if you found a Death Note, but turn power hungry and end up dying. I'm just being real... Nobody is perfect. Like how Obito was. You kill someone he likes, and he made a war just by telling people his name was Madara...
