What would you do if you got robbed? What do you think is the best course of action, getting a group together and finding the people, or reporting it to the police.


I'm only asking because my friend got robbed on Jamaica Ave

and he wants to handle the situation without the police being involved because he feels they won't help him at all.

So, if someone robbed you for something quite expensive you had, like an iPhone, your sneakers or a coat, whatever, what would you do?

The cops don't do much though and trying to find them can get dangerous. My advice is call the cops but if you don't get your shit back don't be disappointed. Just live on and be more careful next time.

Him taking the situation into his own hands will only cause more drama, and will escalate to violence.

i would want to handle it myself. get my ppl... and find whoever robbed me. however.... i am now old enough and wise enough to know that that way almost always ends up worse off, and police would still get involved at that end of the day.

i'd say, report it to the police...
