Hmmm, i have two older brothers and a sister, and three younger sisters, i dont know if this is an isolate incident, for me that is, but my two older brothers were a-holes and it wasn't until later on when they "chilled out", but i never disowned them for the childish things they have done to me.
My older sister however is the incarnation of human flaws, and i have given her more than enough chances to change, but she hasnt and for that i have disowned/shunned her, she is nothing to me and i wouldn't have any regrets ftom that choice.

My sister disowned me just because I don't have as much money as her, she thinks she is better than me because I care about more than having the same car the neighbor has. I would never disown my own flesh and blood unless they hurt and animal or a child on purpose.
