I sure would try to remove these Future things, and less fanservice.

Friendship powerups, cut down of the fanservice, more logical and intelligent fights. Natsu finally developing and Lucy training. Having Kagura introduced before the Edolas arc...

Do not watch it!!! I wasted so much time, watching that crap only to get to the good part and the only good part called the Edolas arc.

You will not find Shonen manga without friendship motif, tho, FT probably overdoit with it.

Id like if they could at least get injured and die ... No one ever dies in fairy tail except 1 fodder every 150 episodes ...
A lil bit less nakama power up and some more training arcs or phase ...
Its always beat the crap out of the villain , then he power up , then they get beaten and then some random power up (eating flames for natsu)

Anyway its still entertaining

While i would also want so deaths in the manga, mainly for character progression, i don'y see any 'viable deaths' at the moment, and most relationships are kind of narrowish in FT
