What would naruto be like if the War arc has never happend?

The reason why I'm asking this question is becaus to me this whole 4th shinobi world thing is what made naruto less interesting as a manga/anime.Think about it.

When Naruto started and progressed there was a whole ninja world of mysteries. We have seen the conflict of konoha with the sand village(caused by oruchimaru).In the land of waves arc the whole ninja world sounded so exciting when it was explained with all the countries and kages. This opened up the opurtunities for team 7 to explore the ninja world and maybe the missions in other countries.

However kishimoto did not really do much to describe the other nations ad villages. Nor did he make many arcs in those other countries. What I'm saying is the naruto world was not sufficently explored in naruto. What if it was though? What type of challenges/missions/adventures could team 7 encounter in those other countries(land of wind,fire,earth and so on)? Obviously since the war arc happend there was no place for such things(just constant battle fighting)

What do you guys think?

Akatsuki actually captured Naruto and took away Kurama but Naruto still survived and had to fight without Kurama.

IMO, that would make his character a lot better.

Then we'd see more Uzumaki Fuinjutsu and Sage Mode from Naruto instead of Nine Tails Spam.

Maybe he'd even try and master FTG, who knows?

He really should have fleshed out the akatsuki and villages+ tailed beast hunt this way, with taka sasuke hunting down the jinchuriki as well.

We dont need to see what happened in the other villages. We get a very real sense of what happens. A huge cycle of Hatred, sasuke is out main byproduct of this, Bee and Naruto were possible products if they did not find Ay and Iruka, respectively. The ninja world is the same from one village to the next, look at Haku and Zabuza, Orichimaru and Kabuto, Obito and Madara, Tsunade and Oonki. Each of them have had an experience that either turned them against the system or almost turned them against the system. We are suppose to get a sense of what the system could be like with the war. Ninja from different walks of life protecting one another from a common enemy, not fighting against one another, its about replacing villages with ideals, and learning to befriend one another. If there was no war, we wouldnt get to see what the goal of naruto was.

What was happening before the war?
Sasuke was going to be hunted down and slaughtered.
Danzo was going to try his best to take the leaf village down a very dark road.
Naruto would never master Kurama the way he was ment to.
We would never know why there was going to be a coupe, why itachi killed the clan.
We would not find out the origins of the ninja world.

Just becuase few select individuals are not fond of the way the war went doesnt mean that it was unnecessary. People take "criticism" to the next level. Ill tell you one thing, this war is 100x better then 90% of most other manga series.

Yeah. It would make the story a lot better too.
I still remember how Kishi never showed us the Akatsuki fights against the sealed Jionchuuriki.

I feel like he could of at least made a Volume showing us those fights.

What I disliked is how he used Edo Tensei as a way to bring back everything he should of showed us in the first place.

It could have been better if you think about it, but we just have to accept Overlord Kishimoto's work is it is now, rather than lamenting about what could have been.
